Heidelberg enters the stage at CeBIT 2002 as a total solution
provider for digital printing
At CeBIT 2002, being held in Hanover between March 13 and
20, 2002, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) will be
presenting itself as a total solution provider for the entire
digital printing industry. "CeBIT 2002 in Hanover will be
Heidelberg's first opportunity to demonstrate a complete, fully
integrated solution package of relevant digital printing
applications from prepress and press to postpress, both for color
and black/white printing", says Holger Reichardt, Marketing
Director at Heidelberg.
The centerpiece of Heidelberg's trade show will be its
digital printing systems - all of which offer an open and flexible
workflow and can be integrated in all kinds of operating
environments. On display will be the black/white Digimaster 9110
digital printing system with various software and finishing
applications. DataXceed, the software available with the
Digimaster, is able to recognize virtually all file formats common
in data centers and, by showcasing this software solution at CeBIT,
Heidelberg is looking to appeal especially to potential customers
from industry, administration, banks, insurance companies and
telecommunications.
The NexPress 2100, which has been available since Print 01 in
Chicago, is the first digital color production press on the market.
Heidelberg is presenting the high-performance system at CeBIT as a
high-quality solution for variable data printing and is therefore
focusing in particular on customers that are considering the move
into efficient one-to-one marketing with printing of fully variable
data.
Proven digital offset and digital printing are brought
together by the Quickmaster DI 46-4 Pro, which will also be on show
at CeBIT. The presentation will highlight the end-to-end digital
workflow extending right up to the press. The Quickmaster DI Pro is
aimed particularly at prepress companies, digital printers and
advertising agencies looking to start out in the constantly-growing
market for short-run color jobs.
The Print Media Academy, with its latest offerings relating
to "the world of print media", Linotype Library with its
"Corporate Type" and "Font Explorer" themes and
the Human Resources department will also be represented at the
Heidelberg stand situated in Hall 1, Stand 6 a2.
