Heidelberg tops manager magazin's annual ranking of M-DAX
companies for sixth time
In its annual report ranking, business magazine manager
magazin has rated once again the 2006/2007 Annual Report of
Heidelberg Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) as the best on the M-DAX.
This is now the sixth time that Heidelberg has been named the M-DAX
winner. Heidelberg took second place in the overall ranking of
around 200 annual reports from DAX, M-DAX, S-DAX, Tec-DAX and Stoxx
50. Heidelberg CFO Dirk Kaliebe, who accepted the award in
Frankfurt, viewed the success this year as recognition for the
continuity and quality of reporting through Heidelberg's annual
financial statements.
Each year since 1995, Hamburg-based manager magazin has been
analyzing the annual reports of the key companies listed on the
stock exchange and evaluating them according to content, layout,
and language. The manager magazin competition is the most
comprehensive comparison of annual reports in Germany and one of
the largest in the world.
Other international awards for Heidelberg's annual
reports in the past testify to the company's innovative
approach to content, design, and layout when preparing its annual
report for the relevant target groups.
As well as covering the annual accounts, Heidelberg also uses
an image theme for each of its annual reports. In the latest
2006/2007 report, several sections focus on the themes of
"precision and customer orientation". The overarching
theme encompasses a strategic area of the company and this year
divides the 118 pages into clearly structured sections. For the
last three years, Heidelberg has also designed its annual report to
create a different look for the financial section and the
management report, thereby providing a much clearer overview.
State-of-the-art Heidelberg technologies - particularly in press
and postpress - are regularly used to provide an effective and
attractive finish to the report.
