Heidelberg has been selected MDAX-Winner by institutional
investors
On Monday evening, the news magazine FOCUS and the
financial magazine FOCUS-MONEY presented the "German Investor
Relations Prize" for the fifth time. At the event, which took
place at the Frankfurt exhibition center in the course of the
annual conference of the German Investor Relations Association
(D.I.R.K.), six of the best companies listed in the DAX, MDAX and
Neuer Markt were awarded for their excellent investor relations
work.
Analysts and institutional fund managers assigned
Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) the first place in the
MDAX category, followed by Deutsche Börse AG and Jenoptik AG.
In the course of a survey held in 16 countries around the world in
March 2002, some 10,000 private investors and more than 800
analysts and fund managers complimented the six winners for their
fair, open and up-to-date information policy.
"Heidelberg is very proud to be among the six best
companies", said Dr. Herbert Meyer, chief financial officer of
Heidelberger Druck. "We are happy that our efforts for an open
and transparent information policy, even in the face of a difficult
economic climate, are being honoured in this way. Many thanks to
our analysts and investors for this very special award."
